What is the application process?
To apply for our Medication Assistance Program, start by filling out the Google form provided on our website. Once your application is reviewed and approved, a member of the Fuck the Stigma team will reach out to you. They will send you a medical voucher to complete and signed your prescriber, which you will have to forward directly to Finksburg Pharmacy for processing.
Who is eligible?
Our Medication Assistance Program is designed to support individuals who are facing financial challenges and struggling with mental health issues, as well as the stigma surrounding them. To be eligible for this program, you must be a Maryland resident. We are committed to helping those in our community who are battling both financial hardship and the stigma of mental health, ensuring they have access to the medications they need.
When do I find out if I am approved?
After you submit your application for our Medication Assistance Program, a member of the Fuck the Stigma team will review it. The review process may take up to 2-3 weeks. If approved, you will be contacted via email with the outcome and informed about the next necessary steps to take.
Where does my prescription get filled?
Under our Medication Assistance Program, your prescription will be filled at Finksburg Pharmacy, located at Tower Center, 2027 Suffolk Rd #4, Finksburg, MD 21048. Once approved and processed, your medication will be ready for pickup at this location.
Do I need to notify my physician/prescriber?
Yes, it is essential to notify your physician or prescriber if you are applying for our Medication Assistance Program. They will need to sign the medical voucher, which is a necessary step for processing your prescription through the program.
